Seems earlier this year Audi issued a recall in Asia for models of cars equipped with DSG transmissions.

Don't know if you guys saw this before but it seems their TCU controllers/mechatronics units plagues everyone and not just S4 owners. This sort of info would be needed in if and when Audi tries to screw us all over by not repairing DSG issues in or out of warranty should something arise that's caused by subpar design/implementation.

As I said before, the high temps in the trannies is what's causing the TCU and inturn the mechs to malfunction due too Audi improperly building an efficient cooling system for the units.

If they're going country by country in order to manage the demand for parts, I wonder how far the US is down the list.

My friend recently lemon law'd his S4 for DSG issues. Wonder if the California Smog damaged his tranny. . [:D]

I have my car for more than a year but no issue whatsoever so far. Hopefully it will stay like this (although I will be most likely getting out of S4 by this weekend).

What have you decided to go with?
