Did a little searching, Looks like the B6 and B7 guys have made some. Has anyone attempted a fog delete on the B8 or 8.5 S4 yet? If an manufacturer ever made open style mesh ones, I know I would buy them. I think I've used my fog lights 1 time in the last year of owning the car, and I would much rather have an RS style look to go with the RS grill.

This looks so much better then the square fogs, and non open mesh the 8.5s have now

love the look of that front end, but it just sits too low and looks awkward with the stock side skirts.

Thanks a lot. I always loved the RS5 look on the S4's

ajys87, your conversion looks great.

I'm just looking for a solution to replace the S4 fog light sections (only) with an RS style insert. It'd be nice if that was out there without having to swap the whole bumper. Oh well.

does the bumper paint not match the body on the S4 or is it just the picture angle?

What is the point of this comment? Does it do anyone any good? Just negative energy.

Btw, to many of us it looks awesome. Ill probably do the same soon

i'm not sure why a company doesn't produce them, I totally agree that a simple lower air intake grill change with an RS5 style would look great. Who knows, Chinese manufacturers repped the RS4 grill, so I can't see why they wouldn't try to rep the air intake grills... here's hoping!

It's actually a useful comment, I didn't even notice when first checking out ajys87's build thread and I still think it looks awesome. Per his comments, sounds like he's well aware and has something (amazing) in store.

But it's good to understand both the positives + shortcomings on anything, especially non-oem parts. If you are doing the ECS RS grille for example, it's useful to know that some of the trim pieces have questionable fit and the cover for the crash bar sucks - it's no dig on ECS, just gives the customer more information to make the appropriate decision.

The poster with the Rieger front end may correct me, but I have heard this bumper is not a great fit and needs quite a bit of massaging to make it work. Wouldn't jump in that quick just yet. Does look better too with the matching bodykit rather than stock skirts and ear valence.

DrChill is actually right.... Ur going to need a good maseuse...thankfully autohause recommended akaeurosport which can make anything work... They are perfectionist... They made it work and they did real good job... Sadly he's on vacation in europe... Checking out the auto industry and what not there...so gotta wait till he gets back.. But i couldnt trust anyone else.... The work he does is amazing....
So if ur thinking about it... Or in fact any type of bodykit.... Make sure ur in good hands...

Nonetheless.. Im very happy with it... I actually would have probably gone with the ecs grill because of the huge cost difference but i ordered it when there was no news of any grill coming out and just got tired of waiting... But in the end... Its looks sick, its different, and cant wait to get the COMPLETE look... I just hate waiting... Everything is 'on order'...[headbang]

Apologies for bumping an old thread, especially as my first post.

I just bought a 2013 Audi S4 with a euro bumper on it. It has a fog light delete on it from the previous owner, but it will randomly get bulb out warnings. I've been reading up some but I haven't found a way to disable either the fog lights via ross-tech or another method. Did you have this issue or find a solution? For some reason it only says my left bulb is out. I'm almost to the point of putting fog lights back in it just because it's driving my OCD crazy. I'm assuming any light delete would incur this problem unless you somehow left your lights attached.

I'd greatly appreciate any input. Thanks guys.

Just plug the bulbs in and tape them up somewhere behind the bumper?

I can't find the wires. I really have no clue what the guy attempted to do.

You have to go to vag com and uncheck "installed fog lights" so the car can think it doesn't have fog lights installed

This must be a one off because I've looked throughout the entire last year on the web for fog light delete. I was on German websites and China ones and couldn't find anything for b8.5.... So I went with the RS4 aftermarket conversion. The only option would be rs5 conversion but you would have to change the lights too.

I think another alternative would be to smoke the fog lenses. No, it's not a full blown delete, but it will certainly make the fogs blend in. As a matter of fact, I think I might just give that look a try.

I have created a thread to have someone work on it: check out my thread because ECS tuning is following the thread and they may make it!!!

4 years later, Does anyone make fog grills that delete the B8.5 fogs? I'm not looking to just cover the lense with dark vinyl. I want them gone along with any traces of them....Would be happy with some sort of RS5 style cover for the opening.
