My Neuspeed got 258HP and 304TQ on 91 with a K&N and a 60mm mid pipe back exhaust

Anthony, thats great, but why are you comparing stock exhaust car results to a car with a filter, midpipe and exhaust? Whats your point? Trying to drive more business to Greedspeed which you own? Thats fine, but this is not the place to do it, especially when you are comparing apples to oranges. And last I checked its pretty bad taste to hijack another competitors thread with their own business intentions.

Again, once everyone has software, we will see who makes what. This is only the beginning of 2.0T Tuning.

It was not a full exhaust, it was from the resonators back no down pipe. We installed the rear mufflers for a photo shoot this is when we did the dyno ( I wanted to make sure I included them in my listing to avoid any problems or accusations). Without a down pipe the gains were minimal , I was not able to tell much before or after so maybe 5-8 HP so say a max of 10 HP so lets adjust the number to 248HP keep in mind I was only running 91 octane so if you consider based on the normal difference of 91 vs 93 add 6HP . So lets just say 254 with out the exhaust running 93


And we all know how much a K&N filter makes

Can you tell us how you did the correction to crank hp.

I got different numbers. I'm showing that dyno losing only 7.5% to drivetrain loss. I'm assuming it is a FWD and a happy stock car or a happy dyno, but...

So the car is 200 stock hp.

Baseline:
185whp/200chp = .925 or 7.5% drivetrain loss or 1.08 correction factor.

Modified:
214whp * 1.08 correction factor = 231chp modified

or in other words

214whp/.925 = 231chp modified

Now for torque...

Stock Torque = 207ctq

Baseline:
185wtq/207ctq = .89 or 11% drivetrain loss or correction factor of 1.118

Mofified:
250wtq/.89 = 280ctq modified

Or another way...

250wtq * 1.118 = 279.5wtq modified

Did you guys do it differently?

Awesome to hear the APR 2.0T software is here! Time to upgrade our A3!? [cool][up] It ready yet.?.?.?

And I'll have a B7 A4 Avant to upgrade later this year as well... [:)]

well.. i havent got mine flashed yet .. i was just asking a what if question :)

anyhow, i am assuming the same thing .. although i can relax more if an APR guy say something

be fair about it Zerin...if you can come on his post and stir up the "war has started" post, then he has every right to do that as well.
