Hi all, i am having issues with my clutch on the B8 and was wondering if anyone can help out. Once in a while my clutch will feel like a sponge while shifting meaning that it comes up from the floor slowly and feels like it sticks. But once i pump it a few times it returns to normal. Im wondering is this a slave cylinder issue (air bubbles inside) or is it something more? Any help is appreciated thanks.

Not super old but gonna bring it back from the dead. I have the same problem, did you ever find out the cause? It's very random... there's no rhyme or reason behind when it happens, except I notice it most during quick shifts at WOT.

I have not found a complete fix for it however i did bleed the clutch and made it worlds better. Mine got so bad that there was basically no spring action on the pedal. When i bled the clutch fluid came out milky looking (water in the fluid) and had quite a bit of air in there aswell. At the moment it still sticks randomly but i assume its because of the cold weather here in Iowa. Im planning on replacing the slave when it gets warmer so we will see how it goes. Sorry for not being able to give you a better answer, from what ive seen some of the guys had the whole clutch replaced to fix it but it could of been something simple.
