I have been running my new k04 for roughly 3 weeks, and havent yet used it to its fullest. I was wondering what the break in period for these things are, I dont want to ruin another one.

I never heard of a break in period for turbos... though I may be wrong.

Just make sure you let it cool down after running it moderately hard.

I would want to slowly break it in aswell, but after 3 weeks I would say you're cool.

just took it out and opened it up...not bad! Much better than the APR chip I had before!

Aren't you in the wrong forum? Or is that not your car in your sig?

Nice work on the K04. Are you running larger injectors?

not my car in the sig...I am going to change that as soon as I get a wash... I am running 315cc injectors and GIAC software...

My local VW dealer told me that it takes at least 10 years to break in the turbo on the GTi... [rolleyes]

Im not sure if you are really into modding but if you do start strappn some mods on , your car would look sick.

Neo1130, please resize your sig, 500x150 is the site max.
