so today I have been trying to diagnose a stuttering and popping that happens at about 2800-3500 rpms only under WOT.
After doing some searching I found a broken hose on my intake manifold and replaced it, but the stuttering is still present.
I think I am going to change spark plugs tomorrow, and was thinking of using bosh FR5DTC, would these be alright?
Im running an apr stage1 tune.
Thanks,

Had the same problem with my 99 1.8t stage 1 tune test
pipe but stock coils. Was running .32 on the ngk plugs
dropped it to .28 problem went away.

Bosch 5 (7 NGK) heat range will be ok if you like to utilize the re-map.
what year car/ engine code?
if plugs dont rectify, have the fuel pressure checked. Excessive lean will cause miss fires/stuttering/ popping too (along with inability to make power)

Well I changed the plugs and im about to go drive it to see how it is.
definitely needed to change them 2 of the plugs had a gap of almost .040.
also noticed that I have s4 coils in my a4, and one of them is dirty.
Do I need to get new ones?
