Coming up on a week with my new/used S4......For what it is worth, my thoughts...
1) Car is amazing and fun
2) Car had Stasis tune by prior owner. Car is very quick, but wish I could have driven it before the tune so I could feel the difference, assuming one exists.
3) Are the steering wheel audio controls this bad or am I missing something? The interior is beautiful, but could they really make this significant of an error/ommission?
4) The glare from the trim in the side mirrors is annoying
5) Brake dust....I need to hire a pit crew to follow me around to wipe the wheels down after each drive....amazingly frustrating to a detailing enthusiast. This is just my daily driver, no track plans, I am quickly going to the Akebono as many have recommended in various threads (will get Armor All too once I can get to Target/Wal-Mart...)
6) Not a fan of my 2010 grill, definitely goins for the RS swap
7) I don't want an obnoxious exhaust, but I could use a little more growl
8) This forum is the worst possible thing for my finances, way too many amazing ideas that I want on my car, my wife is going to freak out....

Like another new owner said in a recent post, is this smile permanent....Thanks again to everyone who contributes here, it has been an incredible resource. I am sure to annoy the knowledge base here in the future with my inane questions, your patience is appreciated

Congrats on the new whip, sir.

You'd be surprised with the level of tolerance here.

That said, you'd be wise to get yourself one of these:

I also think the thumb wheels on the steering wheel for audio control suck if that is what you mean. I got used to them to some degree but usually use MMI controls. I would prefer buttons on steering wheel to thumb wheels as they are easier to control than a thumb wheel that functions as both a dial and a button.

Totally agree on the crappy wheel audio control on the steering wheel. Haven't used it more than a handful of times. I miss the steering wheel control on my Infiniti. The steering controls on my wife's Grand Cherokee are pretty awesome. Actually the whole jeep uconnect audio system is probably the best I've seen.

Also wish there was a "forward/back" audio control on the wheel instead of having to use volume nob in mmi or the unintuitive scroll wheel thing. And what's with the "nav info" button, did that seriously need it's own giant button? My ford touch has a better infotainment steering wheel UI, hell even the GTI does.

OP welcome to the land of the Dodge Charger and make sure you get a good set of snows so you can avoid all the rust buckets in winter.

I would bag on Florida, but I think the discussion regarding the cumulative intellectual capital in the State of Florida has been fleshed out by most. I hope your dig was in jest as mine was. Regardless, I love my S4 and enjoy the knowledge shared on the forum.
