The mirror is showing a reflection! That just happen to be what is opposite the mirrors at the time. It's working as intended!

Seriously guys...there legit auto dimming mirrors. No more annoying high beam reflections. Who cares how close the object in the mirror is! You wouldn't even know!

The aspherical mirrors oem+ are selling are like blind spot mirrors, if you look close you see a line twoards the edge, the mirror reflects differently than stock. Auto dimming and heated are a different story, wait till you see the price on those.

increases the peripheral vision around the car to reduce blind spot. i've had them on every one of my audis. notice how the portion of the mirror left of the line is more curve, "bending" the light back towards you, thus giving more view of the side:
