I know this has been talked about several times but I decided to go ahead with the tune. Decided on stasis since I am only 5 mo into my lease. All I can say is that the pull and power distribution is very apparent. Shorter shift lag as well. As with most tunes, primary effect is felt in the >3K RPM range, but even from a dead stop, the power is definitely there. Only problem was that it took my local dealer about three weeks total to get my car back. No problem though, since I did get to drive an a6 with all the bells and whistles.
Anyways, I am not here to say one tune is better than the other (that's been beaten too many times) but just to chime in and say if anyone is one the fence....get it [:D]

I also have the Stasis tune and I approve this message! I test drove a '13 yesterday without tune and could definitely notice the difference.

Why 3 weeks for a tune?

That's why you do it at waterfest. Same day and a discount!

so the A6 was it a loaner? please let us know if there is an improvement on your gas mileage after the tune, since APR says on their marketing ad about better fuel improvement. thanks.

^^ I've had the STaSIS tune as well as GIAC...
I log my mileage... you won't see any noticeable mileage improvements. Mine stayed about the same. If anything you will drive more spirited and see a reduction in MPG...

no idea..dropped off car, took a few days to send and then took a few days to ge to stasis. then send back and install etc etc..I am sure it usually is a bit quicker but they gave me a loaner and came and dropped off my car and picked up the loaner..

I'm sure they just kept it an extra few days to run some "tests" and be sure the tune was working properly [drive][race]

Should not be 3 week... 1 day to ship overnight... 30 min to flash (Stasis flashes ECUs same day they arrive... then they ship back same day... arrives back at dealership next day. ECU arrives at dealership in the morning - 15 minutes to reinstall into the car... 3 days turnaround, 4 max. I had my ECU flashed about 4-5 times from Stasis as they tried to resolve an issue I was having... 3 weeks is absolutely ridiculous... I would be very suspicious as to why the car needed to be there 3 weeks. My "Spider senses" would be asking if something happened to the car while it was at the dealership and they had to order parts to fix it and never reported to me... some shops are VERY dishonest like that.

Do you mind me asking which dealer did the tune for you? I'm also in nor Cal and have been thinking about the tune.

stasis website does say san jose, but when I talked to the higher ups at stasis they said that I could take it to a closer dealer. So I took it to Livermore audi. Nice folks there

My mileage is worse with REVO. I only notice on road trips because now I need to fill up way short of LA or Vegas.

I just leased my 2013 S4 there last week and I was informed by the sales person yesterday that they said their partnership with Stasis was terminated a few days ago due to warranty claim issues.

Well that's bummer, had my Stasis ECU done there, 2.5 years ago.
Things change (due to Stasis-Revo aggressive tunes?).
