Has anyone actually taken delivery of a 2014 S4. Mine is supposed to be here in about 5-6 more weeks. But I have yet to see anyone post that they have recieved a 2014 .

156 of the 2014 S4s in the USA according to Autotrader.com, but most are east of Rockies, one dealer in SoCal

I delivered one to a customer 3 days ago.

we got some earlier than expected and luckily his order came in a month early.

he absolutely loves it.

I'd love to, but I promised I'd wait until Jan-Feb time frame. I've already had four cars in the last year and a half [o_o]

However, the Audi seems to be a keeper for sure. I'll have some money coming my way during that time frame, and I'll have owned my house for a year, which is another reason why I'm waiting. I love that blue, but I think I'm going Misano.

Second question: Did anyone get one with the Black Optic package? There has been some question as to whether it would actually be produced. I did not order it on my S4

According to the dealer they are now just waiting Black Edition (Optic) grills to build my Avant, delivery date is mid december which considering I can drive to frikkin' Audi in a day is a tad absurd.

What Black wood inlays are you talking about. There is an $1100 layered wood/alum inlays that are available on any 2014 S4.

Yeah, the inlays that cost as much as the differential.

I haven't seen them on an S4, but googled them on a Q5.

I'm really tempted on those....

I live in New Jersey & Im still waiting. But my dealer did called me a week ago to confirm my 14' S4 options.

Actually , the sport dif is now $1000 for 2012. So the inlays are actually more expensive than the SD. Does that make sense?

That's funny because I was at my dealership getting service and fell in love with an Estoril Blue/Lunar Silver S6 and ordered an identical one for my wife which replaced her 2013 Lexus GS350 F Sport. And I really want a 2010-11 GT3 to replace my Turbo Cayman.

I just put my order in while here in Afghanistan. I won't be expecting the Audi until late December/ January of the New Year. So stoked w/ Black Optic option & many more.

I hate the color that's why I got it... But seriously what kind of question is that? I doubt someone is going to buy a color their not going to be happy with or like.

I didn't really want a red car as my daily but it's nice.

I ordered it. They said another 8-10 weeks before I see mine. Also ordered layered Alu trim.

Yes I know this. But I sure as hell wouldn't settle for a color that I don't like or want...

I had that option of doing that with the four 2013's left at the dealer, but I hate light silver and the savings on the car was not worth me dealing with a color I would hate for three years IF I even keep the car that long. I plan on getting a 2015 RS5 in about two years.

I'm thinking of getting an S6 after my lease finishes in 2 years of my S4. Can you post some thoughts/opinions regarding the change? Any more pics?

Much heavier with more body roll and understeer, less fun to drive, Great V8 sound and turbo thrust, Gorgeous interior, great family hauler or for night out with 4 people. great highway cruiser.

Not a replacement for an S4 or a sports car but rather a nice addition to the stable.

God damn! My two favorite cars right now in terms of four-door. I love your S6! It's official, I'm getting the inlays on my S4 come time. I wanted to see real pictures of them first, and they look absolutely amazing. I also love those diamond stitched seats.

Exactly what I found as well on the extended test drives I had with it. Awesome car nonetheless.

Beautiful S6, Dr Chill. The light interior is awesome. I almost went with the two tone black/white interior on my S4. Got black instead. It would get too dirty for me.

Where in South Florida are you? I'm in Boynton. I used to put a lot of meets together down here but haven't done one in a while. It's long overdue.

I'm in Palm Beach Gardens but I used A Miracle Detailing (Mike Moore) in Boynton Beach to coat my car. I think a meet would be great, preferably somewhere good.

I was supposed to take delivery of mine on 8/19 but I was just informed by my dealer the delivery date has been moved up to 7/29 [:D]. I'll take some pics when I get her. Just to compare, I placed my order on 5/2.

Mine is coming in the week of July 29th as well! Ibis white with Magma/Black interior, 19" and some other stuff. I placed my order a lot later than you did though but technically I didn't even place one. My sales rep was the man and he switched one of the 2014s that the dealership had ordered right before it went into production so that it had all the options that I wanted and labeled it as sold so that no one else could take it haha. Got real lucky cause I probably would've had to wait until end of August if he didn't do that.
