View Full Version : June 24th Photoshoot

So, I finally decided to go out and take a few photos of my car, since I just got done washing and waxing her. Had it for about a month now, and these are the best photos I've taken of it.

I really wish I didn't live on a dirt road, but I do, so I have to always deal with dirty tires...Makes photos less appealing but I think they turned out nice for my phone lol.

I wish I didn't have to have my stock rims plasti-dipped, but they looked better than my scuffed up stock color, and I'm currently hurting really bad on money and wish I could afford some real rims lol...

So this is it. No performance mods yet, going to rip off a straight piped exhaust from the down pipe with a muffler off of my parts car and use some of the pipes to weld up after my Cat probably.

Also planning on lightening up the tint... 50% in front 20% in back...I'm way to paranoid about my current tint (Bought it with that). I live in MN and legal tint is 50% front, back, and rear...and I live in small towns so the cops have nothing better to do than pull you over 24/7 for little things...

Looks good.

Fancy fancy.

If you have to chance to pick them up cheap, get a set of one-piece headlights. I got mine for $80 for the pair. Some minor fender trimming is required, but it's 100% worth it - both cosmetically and usage as the projector style lights really make your light output a lot better.

The black plasti-dip nicely hides the fact that the center caps are missing.

I like the 4th photo from the bottom the best. That blue (santorin, right?) has the best reflections and that picture shows it well.

Coolest photo would be a shot taken from a boat towards the shoreline, with the Audi parked really close to the water.

Yeah I'd love to pick up some one piece non orange corner headlights....In due time. I heard the swap isn't too hard so if I can ever find a good deal on them I'll probably hop on it.

And yes walky it's the santorin blue color. And maybe once I get my jetski out on the lake I'll have to take one like that :P. I literally live like 2 blocks from that boat launching site.

And thanks for the compliments, I was hesitant to post, because I know how so many people don't like p-dipped stock rims lol... I'm not a fan of them either as I said before, but for now they will do.

Nice looking car. You have a 2.8 right? The window trims should be chrome?

06-24-2013, 05:34 PM
It is indeed the 2.8, P-Dipped the trim...I couldn't stand the chrome window trim. I prefer the black window trim of the 1.8T's

Ive got to agree with this!

Seems like the kind of road surface i would avoid after a wash and wax. Paint looks good. My santorin ia getting compounded this weekend.

That's funny. Somebody just brought a 1.8T to our shop the other day. He *added* chrome stick-on trim around the windows!

Lol I'd avoid the dirt roads if I could... To bad I live on one :P I just deal with it though, you just have to wash your car more often.

@Walky, Lol that's funny, but that seems to be the case for some people...They get a car and then want what the other models have, kind of like the wooden interior trim...Some want it when they don't have it and some want it gone who do have it. It's all about preferences I guess.

Santorin blue has always been one of my favorites, your paint looks great! [up]

Good looking car! Giving me some motivation to go shoot some pics of my car haha

I don't usually like the santorin blue, but i really like yours!

Sometimes I wish I had a silver a4, I've always loved silver. I do like the santorin blue but I feel that it's hard to do exterior mods and make it look clean... But thank you all for the compliments! The car does has its fair share of scratches and in some places cracks but you can hardly tell in the photos :P. Gotta love a fresh wax job :) The car would look a lot better lower and some aftermarket silver rims though... maybe in due time.
