I know I don't often post photos of my car (usually because it's filthy), but I've finally got my stuff together enough to post a couple. Haven't taken any good photos since I put the coils and new wheels on. Car just rolled over 215k miles.

My church had a "Cruise In" this Saturday. The flyer for the event specifically invited "Euro/Imports". They even announced it that way during the church service. The pastor read that like he didn't know the meaning of the words - so funny. Anyway, my brother and I got our cars cleaned up and made an appearance. Spent an entire evening with a clay bar pulling tar out of my paint, that crap takes forever.

Still waiting on some photos from the actual event, but here are a few I took afterwards at the shop:

ECS was kind enough to send me a free sticker, so I put that on today as well as my "Keychain for Kayla" sticker:

Good Eye, sir! You are first person who has ever said anything about it. The car did have some paint work in the rear during previous ownership. The body shop replaced the badges pretty straight and true (save perhaps the "T"), however they are indeed a few inches lower than the factory position. My badges be slammed, son.

Wow that paint looks brand new, very nice. At over 200k miles and it's still that clean that's impressive looks like you just bought it new from the dealer like if it was year 2000 again.... How'd you get a free ecs sticker I want one! Lol

How do you like the rs4 style grille? I'm debating on getting one of those or just an a4 or s4 one. I think I would spray the outer trim silver.

Car looks great!

^Thanks, guys.

The body does have it's share of blemishes. But somehow it seems to photograph really well. I think my car is particularly "photogenic" or something. I actually hit a deer recently and didn't even fix the front end. You wouldn't guess there is $700 of damage to the hood, but there is. I cashed the check.

My brother tells me those wheels are "way too baller" for me. I'm inclined to agree with him. I feel like some sort of poser when I drive around, lol.

Say what? Did you hit the deer while parked? HAHA, I see no damage, especially not $700 worth of damage.

And I think your brother is jealous.

The wheels do make the whole setup of the wheel bigger than it actually is.

But, jeebus. Fantastic car. I'm way too shy of my cars terrible paint to share any pictures. Oh, and I ride on stock height with OEM 16" swings.

Thanks. I love the grille. Fits good and makes the front look sporty without being too much. I got a good deal on it at Waterfest.

Looks great as expected! Super clean car, and often times thats better than a heavily modded one. Also, thanks for all your help in the past, you saved me from doing some pretty big things wrong! And its really cool to see another set of brothers who also have B5's. Cars looking great man!

Our whole family drives B5's actually. My mother has a B5 A4 Avant 1.8TQTS. I should line them all up for photo time at some point. The Avant recently replaced her C5 A6 2.7T S-Line 6MT. The heavy aftermarket clutch was bothering her hip or something. She is enjoying the tiptronic, and the lack of speeding tickets!

I'm sad Walky, we can't be similiar in the B6 sport wheels department lol, j/k. Car looks excellent and that is exactly how I would model it. I wanted some B5 RS4 wheels with that drop and grill so im jelly. Maybe I'll catch up to you and be the silver version of your ride.

What is the suspension setup? and do you scrape? curious...

I was trying to stretch them out. Long as you don't were fluorescent shades, you're cool in my book.

Thanks. I still have the B6 Sports. They are my Spring/Fall setup with AS tires. 18's are the summer setup. And 16" swings for winter. Shuffling around all these wheels does get annoying, though!

The suspension setup is pretty ghetto at the moment. Front is ST coilovers. Rear is H&R Sport springs on OEM sport shocks. I still need to get the ST rears put in, but it works for now. No rubbing or scraping that I know of. I do have a Thor skid plate for peace of mind.

Thanks for letting me know. I eventually want to get low but without destroying anything underneath. So I am in between H&R and Eibach Pros. The Coil over life is not for me lol, its going to be static forever. I got to look into a Thor skid plate.

Looks awesome for 215k!

I have that same grill, the ebay special one. I'm going to tackle painting the surround this weekend, the silver really makes it blend in better.

Indeed. 18's look good.

Although, I have noticed that from a long distance away the rubber band tires nearly disappear. It makes it look like I have wagon wheels or something. I think they look great up close and in photos, but from 100ft away while I'm walking across the lot after work, I'm like "Did I do that? Those are ridiculous!".

Hah, I have 17's and sometimes I'm in love with the amount of tire I have but most of the time I wish I had 18's to fill out the wheel well better..

I am a big fan of meaty fat tires though. There was a Nogaro blue S4 in the classifieds not too long ago with CCW classics 17x9.5 squared IIRC with like 265/40's. It was so sick.

Have you noticed everything starting to rattle yet? It's driving me crazy as of late, lol. At like 200k everything decided to start buzzing or squeaking. So far I just crank up the tunes and it's all good. [;)]

Just rolled 240k here! And yes, I have noticed much rattling lately. The car has had the CO's on since 200k (just over a year now) so things could be starting to fall apart but I figure most of my rattling came from removing the whole headliner to replace it with suede about 20k mi ago. Creaks and rattles around the sunroof area drive me insane until I crank the radio just enough to drown them out.. or bang on it a couple times [up]

It's not bad actually. I've replaced/messed with almost every single piece in this interior. Seriously the only original pieces are the dash carpet and 2 door panels. But I just did stern mounts so I assume it will get worse. Thank god for my sub! Lol

Yes, I look like I'm 15. I assure you I'm a little bit older than that. I can vote and stuff.

Here's my buddy and his AE86 Corolla with a Lexus LS400 V8 swap (swap wiring by yours truly). Yes, the funny hat.:
