I figured that while I'm saving up for parts, I'd do a bit of a check list of stuff I can get. While I know a bit about stuff, this is my first tuner basically and I'm trying to get things downpact, figured I'd get the list I made rated and checked out, then if anyone has any suggestions, go from there.

Engine:

Custom ECU - [ ]
Carbino CAI - [ ] (I know, but I always wanted to have an intake)

HPFP (Still deciding) - [ ]
034 Low Vibe Snub Bracket - [x]
Apikol Snub Mount - [x]
034 Motor Mounts x2 - [ ]
034 (Oil) Catch can Kit - [ ]
034 Turbo Inlet Hose - [ ]

Apikol Rear Diff Mount - [x]
034 Trans Mount - [ ]

As you can see, got no idea where to start with suspension or brakes. My goals basically this: DD Street>Track/Drag (haven't done either yet, probably lean a bit more towards track honestly). What I figure is a great street suspension setup that also does well on the tracks and for brakes, I'd save up for a nice Big Brake kit, but not sure which.

As I said, this is currently a future parts list; I'm currently saving up and don't expect to have it all done anytime soon, but just figured why not. If there's anything I missed, pl

Thank you for taking a look and replying.

Suspension should be based off of which platform you want to run.

1) Shocks + Spring combo

OR

2) Coilovers

Go from there. Decide on a budget, and find solutions within that budget. Obviously coils are a bit more, but theyre TOTALLY worth the investment. There's a ton of different coilover setups for budgets here, ask around the vendor area. ST/KW/Bilstein/TEIN/etc. I'd also suggest upgrading the sway bars if you're going to be doing some tracking eventually. It'll definitely help reduce that body roll during spirited daily driving sessions.

As far as the brakes, it depends on the type of driving you do. If you're a spirited DD, adams rotors with Hawk HPS are perfect. SS lines are a nice upgrade to have as well. That's where I would start off if I was in your position. You can always upgrade to a BBK later on down the road.

If you are doing a FMIC anyway, do yourself a favor and build a custom intake vs. Carbonio. Better sound, better performance, better price

Thanks Teamdaraptor, having too much fun on Adams making a brake kit, just wondering if I should stick with S4 or RS4

As for Sway's, you guys would Recommend 034 right?

Custom Intake huh, what would be a good site to get parts at. Does sound like fun

I believe the 034 sways are from the RS4? Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. As far as the brake kit, build it according to your needs, you can always upgrade later on. It'll be easy enough to swap pads and rotors out once you get to the point of tracking regurlarly. By then, you will be able to save up for a BBK, stainless lines, etc. etc.

As for the intake.. People do a custom intake all the time, but as I'm not tracking, only spirited DD'ing, I wanted the bay to look clean. That's why I went with carbonio. I absolutely love it. The choice is yours ultimately, so play around with some ideas, costs, etc., and purchase what best suits your needs.

The 034 RSB is thicker than the RS4 RSB. 25.4mm vs 22mm.

The 034 bar is not from the RS4. The 034 bar is thicker, somewhere around 25mm diameter. Also has two endlink holes for adjustability. It's solid. I have one on my car.
