Hey All,
I'm looking to replace the rubber seal (weather stripping?) along the top of the front windshield. I've done some searching but have only found diagrams calling out the "molding" on the sides of the windshield.
The rubber seal comes out after I drive and I have to press it back into the joint almost everytime [headbang]. It also looks like there is some epoxy on it to keep it in place....the epoxy is the same consistency as what seals the headlight lens cover to housing...any idea on where to get that epoxy?
Furthermore, is this covered by insurance? Like would this weather stripping coming out warrant free service from my insurance company? I don't need new glass, but I want a windshield that isn't susceptible to leaks (although I haven't seen any indication of a leak).
Any help or input would be appreciated. I can get pics up later if it helps. Thanks in advance.
