Looking for an iPod kit for my symphony II+ radio. I recently purchased a dension iPod kit and it made my Bluetooth stop working in my car. I took it out and returned to stock and my Bluetooth started working again. I'm looking for a kit that would let my Bluetooth still work and have steering wheel controls.

Anybody ever use this Bluetooth music interface?

When i installed the Dension, i had to recode my RNS-E to tell it i have a cd changer (the dension stand as a cd changer). But it didn't stop my BT. Pretty weird.

There's an iPod kit in classifieds.

You have to do this to retain the factory bluetooth on the Dension GW17AC1:

Thanks! That worked perfectly. I was wondering what that adapter was for during install. One of the main problems I had when looking for an iPod kit was I have the iPhone 5 and dension works and charges it but I had to buy the 30 pin adapter from apple. It works great since apple doesn't have an iPhone 5 car charger yet.

So I got the 30 pin adapter and charges my iphone but the music plays from the iPhone and not stereo. Also my remote stopped working after installing the iPod cord

What remote? Are you in iPod GW mode?

The key fob remote to my car

I'm going to guess the two issues are unrelated. Is the LED on the remote illuminating when you press a button?

I use a lighting adapter also, but on my iPod. When you're in GW mode, the device locks and all control is through the radio or thumb wheel. Maybe the Dension is not seeing it for whatever reason.
