I found this method for flushing out the engine on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFOqW0x7oiI and since its time to service the Cam Chain Tensioner it seems like a good idea regardless of no current oil issues.

However I cannot catch what size fitting they are using to attach the oil filter connection. I cant seem to comment on their video and their website email address doesn't work either

Thanks

That's my mechanic. He had a cruise today. Car is on downtime, so I missed it. Went last year.

Most times than less people just have burnt oil residue on the walls and think that to be oil sludge. That car in the video, pure sludge.

I don't believe I really have a sludge issue, I just like the method they used to do the flush and intend to replicate the flush part. The car has 170k and I see it as more a maintenance thing since the tensioner is making noise and leaking it cant hurt.

I'm waiting on a tensioner/gaskets from mjmautohouse and all I need is to get the fitting size to go on the oil filter housing and I should be good to go
