View Full Version : How about a "B7 New Mods Sticky"?

Given the 'newness' of the B7 model, I think a sticky for new 'official' mods coming out from various manufactures would be nice to have. What do others think?

I mean, you can find all kinds of info hidden in posts, but to have one post to collect mods in would be great [:)]

Things like:
- MTM Chips
- APR Chips
- EuroPlate holders
- ECS OEM Front Plate Filler, Snub, BBKs
- Votex Kit
- AMD SSK
- Stratmosphere SSK
- looks like STaSIS now has developed a B7 TrackSport kit?

Also would help to filter things out like:
- H&R B6S4 Coilovers will fit the B7, but rates are going to be different so be careful kids [:)]
- "What's the best DV/BOV to put on my B7 2.0T?" (erm...)
- etc, etc, etc

Thoughts?

Yes, we're going to be doing/starting Official FAQ Stickies for the various model forums very soon. Stay tuned!

I am running the PSS9 Kit for the B6/B7 listed on the Bilstein website, you can use the S4 kit it just uses higher spring rates. The standard PSS9's for the B7 2.0T runs 550LBS springs and the S4 kit runs 650LBS. I tried both on my B7 and I ended up with the 550LBS spring setup it just seemed to work better

There is a possibility of a better electric DV coming out for 2.0T

I will be trying a manual DV conversion in a few weeks
