B7 S4 Cabrio with Alpine 8" NAVIGATION incl. DIS/MFD display info

This memorial day I install the NEW ALPINE Z928 8" Navigation in my S4 Cabriolet with their new interface it will display all info in the cluster.

Is an awesome unit with the bright LED display works perfectly for the cabriolet also Sedan, Avant and even A3 kits are available.

I wish the theme's went better with Audi interior, maybe a red theme or something like that... Not going to lie though for being aftermarket it does look nice!

According to Crutchfield it’s not a perfect fit. They state you lose Sirius radio. I’d like to see me pics and details as well.

Has anyone installed the new ALPINE interface that also gives the display info on the cluster for the S920, W927 and W928?

I know a place that has them in stock from Germany and they are $89 complete.

Let me know if anyone os interested.

Also they are getting the new AUDI-8A4D complete dash kit, but no pricing yet.

For anyone who has interest, I found this place in Florida that sell exclusively the German Speedline Steeringwheel Radio interfaces, they have them for all AUDI models.

I purchased the one for the new ALPINE INE-W927 radio, this model as the new S920 and W928 will display the radio/CD/DVD information in the cluster, something you loose with installing an aftermarket radio.

they sell them for all brands of radio, Pioneer, Kenwood, etc.. but only the ALPINE interface has the capability to display the MFD / DIS

What trim piece is this? Would it work in a B7 A4 as well. This combination looks almost "stock". So many 7" aftermarket units with cheap trim pieces are not my thing. I could do this one!

Yes, it will work on a B7 A4. Alpine offer a trim kit that comes with all the wiring harness/trim piece etc. for it to fit. I don't think it's available in the US yet, so you would have to order from overseas. You will want to look for the KIT-8A4D.
