Hello everyone, I am having a hard time finding a part I need and had some questions on the procedures to replace it. I have a 2006 A4 FWD CVT and the part number for the shifter is 8E1 713 105. I had the plastic lever, the one that the shifter button actuates, break so I cannot select gears other than neutral or drive. Has anyone seen this happen or fixed this problem? I ordered a shift mechanism on ebay but it was for a quattro. I learned the hard way that they are different and it didn't help me. Does anyone have a manual that could help me with replacing this part after I find one?

OK still trying to figure all of this out. I think i found what I need 8E1-713-105 D is the part number that matches my vin and the problem is they don't break it down the way the other part numbers do. Shokan did not have the part in stock so it looks like i will have to buy new. Looks like audiwholesales is going to be my best bet. Thanks for the help.

There's a (newer) revision part# here:

Correction: newer part number might be for newer model. Please double-check
