anybody out there know where to go to have the outside grille trim painted and/or laminated to match the grille color?

just spray paint em....not that hard...i did mines and its still the same color

what color is your grille and what spray paint you used? do you get problems with the rock chips? by the way, i always pass your car at the bingham street.

Yeah, you can just do it yourself. Got to the store and buy some Hi-Gloss or flat (but, I recommend the Hi-Gloss) black spray paint. Make sure you clean the surface of your grille really good, so the paint sticks. Just keep adding a new coat every hour, until you are satisfied. Let dry overnight. [up]

thanks for the tips but what do you use to clean the trim and do you have to sand it first?

I'd say very fine sandpaper and some rubbing alcohol.....that should work.

rubbing alcohol works real good.. anyone ever tried painting the shifter plate surround?copied the tech article on aw and mine came out really nice

a friend of mine in LA has a TT and used model paint to paint his stock strut tower brace. came out real nice cause it's glossy and looks like regular paint. might want to look into that too. should find them in any hobby stores. thinking about painting my brace also.
