B5 A4 2.8l V6 265k. About 3 weeks ago the engine started making a different pitch noise around the back side of the passenger side camshaft. It is tough to describe but its something between a whir and whine. Follows the RPMs. Most prevalent on a cold start up but noise remains throughout the normal commute. The car seems to drive fine from a response and performance standpoint. I've been working through the engine taking bits off but so far I have not come up with anything concrete. During the winter months here in MN the oil temp does not pass 175 or so. I use 0W-40 Mobil 1 Full synthetic year round. Here are some pictures of the internals I have opened up so far. Any clues as to what might be making the noise?

Link to the video of engine running with noise. It is the higher pitched noise above all the usual lifter and injector noises.
