My 2.7 just recently started making a whine when i get around 3000 rpm's or so, any ideas what it could be? On a side note it wasnt doing this before i gave it to a shop to fix my window and they had it overnight

Clutch on the mechanical fan could be on it's way out? I know the ones that I'm familiar with do that. I'd check the fan for cracks to ensure that you dont have a catastrophe in and amongst your radiator/hoses/belts.

checked yesterday and didnt see any cracks..this didnt start until i took it to get the window fixed..I think the folks there took a little joy ride and burnt my clutch out in the process as well
