As the title explains, I am looking to buy a used Q5 between the model year of 2009-2011 with the 2.0T engine.
The goal is to make a very fast yet comfortable daily driver.
Are there any differences between the year of 2009 to 2011?
What type of turbocharger is mounted to the 2.0 engine in the Q5?
What type of gearbox is in the automatic? DSG 6? DSG 7?
The tuner I want to go for is APR I won't even consider anything else.
The top of the range option seems to be the APR KO4 kit.
What power range would that put me in? Are there any supporting mods I should do?
Such as the APR intake? APR exhaust RSC system? Downpipe?
What about brakes? I would assume they aren't great. What is the best and most cost effective upgrade?

Any further advice is more than welcome.

Don't touch the intake. It has been proven time and time again that touching the intake does nothing positive. Its just a waste of $300.

Anything before 2011 has a 6 speed auto. 2011 and after has an 8 speed auto. Other than that, no differences between model years iirc. The turbo is a K03, you can probably find a lot of this easily online. Im not sure why youd touch the brakes unless youre gonna track it, which seems unlikely.

Some differences between model years are in the MMI.
Do the APR Stage 3, should be good. Don't do an intake as said, but do the TIP from the turbo to the airbox, that is less than $100 and will give you some improvements in the throttle response.
