I don't believe you can have a tighter fit than that, but it's goo to hear that it works. You'll definitely need to tell tire shops to be careful when using the key so that they don't possibly scratch up the lughole.

So after I mounted the wheels the key did not fit as the angle of the bolt changed a bit.
I had the wheel shop grind about 1mm off the sleeve of the key.
It fits perfect now.

A few installed pics and getting many compliments.
I highly recommend a tire with wider tread to look less stretched.

You can easily run a staggered set of 19x8.5 ET35 & 19x9.5 ET45 wrapped in 255/35/19 tires. As long as you run the same tire size(or within 3% diameter), you will not mess up the Quattro system. You can also run 9.5" square on the B8 chassis.


With a 45 et can you run a 265 tire?

We do not recommend it, however I have had a few customers in the past run 265/35/19 on stock suspension and claim to have no rubbing issues. They may have done the fender/bumper screw modification, but nothing other than that.

I am running Goodyear F1 asymmetric all seasons 255/35 19.
Tires have been good and it comes with a lip for rim protection that makes the tires look wider.

And also, shoot me straight here - have the proportions of this photo been tweaked a bit so as to stretch the photo, making the car look lower/wider and therefore making the wheels look more aggressive? I've seen plenty of examples online of these wheels on B8/B8.5 and none of them look anywhere near this good, so that's what has be questioning the proportions of the photo.
EDIT - Sorry for the skepticism, I just want to make sure I know what I'm getting in case I would decide to go this route.

I did buy one...it didn't match all that good and it dried up after I used it one time... It sat about 2 months with the cap on and it was dry. I think I found just as close of a match with a duplicolor touch up paint.

Ususally our paint pens are a pretty good match. But of course with each case it would be different due to sunlight exposure on the wheel.

You can do both the 8.5 and the 9.5, both would work on your chassis. The 8.5 would be in ET35 and the 9.5 would be in ET45 offset, shooting you a PM now [up]

For most concavity, I sugest going with a 19x9.5 ET45 fitment. With the x9.5 sizing, you can run a 255/35r19 tire, which isn't too much of a stretch, but just enough to clear your fenders. I'll get a quote with shipping for you and send a PM soon. [:)]
