2001 Allroad 2.7T. Notice oil leaks (bottom of passenger side EGR was wet). Took EGR out. Bladder is good, holding vacuum, but 'piston' does not open.
Any chance to revive the EGR? What works best (soak in carb cleaner, brake cleaner, WD40, PB Blaster, Kreol, gas, else)? How long?
How is the piston moving (if I want to force it a little)? Down to the engine side hole? Up way from the engine side hole?

Can a stuck EGR contribute to oil leak (pressurizing the crank case and forcing oil out)?

On other 2.7T and 2.8V I have found the PCV 'pump' (the "Y" piece that sucks fumes out) being completely plugged up. I forgot where it can be found on the 2.7T. Any tips?
