Hey I read a lot of threads about this issue. I'm new to the audi world and don't know much about the different bodies. I've seen newer model have these on with no problem..but will this fit I the front with 25mm offset or is that to much out there tryna go flush. Yes I am gonna lower the car with h&r sport springs and koni sports shocks.does anyone have this setups or just 19x9.5 rims on there a6 narrow body..

My summer setup are OEM RS4's, 19x9 et 29. I got them with 255/35 which were worn down by 50%. I had to remove the top fender liner screw (I'm on bilsteins & eibachs) and I only rubbed during hard suspension impacts. If you run a lower height sidewall (suggesting 235/35/19), and ran some stretch, you might be able to make it work.
Edit: At www.tyrestretch.com I only see pictures of 245's stretched, none of 235's. This may mean 9.5 is too much wheel for 235s. However, the pictures of 245's on 9.5 don't seem that aggressive to me...

I have 235's on a 10" with a good amount of stretch, sure 9.5 won't be too bad

Wouldn't mind seeing how that stretch looks. I thought 235/9.5 wouldn't be too bad.

gearhead650 I am trying to figure out this my self, hoping to get some 19x9,5 with offset of 40 (might need some spacers) onto my '03 narrowbody avant. Also plan to use 235/35 tires, and from the pictures I have seen that wont be too much of a stretch.
Hope someone can shed some light onto this fitment question.

My current fronts are 18x9.5 et28 235/40/18 and that works with no rub at all. Lowered on H&R's, rolled fenders but not pulled. On a 19 that means a much smaller sidewall, which will stretch at a steeper angle. Not sure how the inner edge of the 19x9.5 would play as far as hitting suspension tho.
Check the wheel post thread, you will likely find your answer.

ENDEE666: thanks for your input! Yes the tire would need a smaller sidewall, 235/35 is the number. Where the inner edge is going to end up is all depending on the offset, so anyone who have tried 9,5" please include your offset !
I have indeed been through the "Post your wheel / tire set up" thread and it is a very good source. It is just that in my case I need to know for sure that that the rim won't protrude from the fenders, and not all pictures in that thread is good enough to judge that.
The thread:
Post your wheel / tire set up with pictures and information (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/458792-Post-your-wheel-tire-setup-with-pictures-and-information)
Thanks!

Bump i guess ? [:|]
I believe et35 is about the sweet spot for for 9.5" wide.

Ok thanks! Do you believe that will still keep the rim inside the fender ? Meaning no poke.

I'm running 20x10" et 25 with 245/30/20 on my front. It had a little poke and no real rubbing except on large bumps at high speeds with H&R 2" drop springs. Now I am on st coilovers and tucking a little tire....the offset is flush since it cambered in a little. It does rub much easier now but with a little fender rolling should be fine. Top liner screw taken out when springs installed.

So did a couple tests myself. As i found out et35 is a perfect offset with stock calibers now with big brake conversion u will need to go less et to clear. This depends on type of rim like concave, deep dish, etc. But i would like to throw in that tire brand plays a big part too as different brands have different sidewall hieghts even if they are the same size. So what i did was is go to americas tires and had them slap on some tires to test out. Then just told them i didnt like it. Free testing, so michellin, kumho have high side walls. Yokohamas and continentals are low. So far thats what i tested. With 245/45/19 is the size i tested. Hope this helps. And thanks for the response guys it helped me out on figuring this stuff out. And also im on st coilovers.

I am running 19" x 9.5" 30 offset all the way around with 225/35 tires. I have very very little rubbing and only rolled/pulled my front fenders...I am still using my wheel liners. Once my car is completed with Stage 3+ I will be getting some Advant Garde wheels and probably doing 19" x 10".

I didn't do a DIY thread or any photos of the process. It came out good, but not perfect...so eventually I will redo it with a new bumper and will document it.
