My 2010 S4 has 43k miles .
The next service at 45k will be done under the Audi Care I purchased for $750 when I bought it .

Today, Audi sent me an offer for Audi Care plus .
Same as Audi Care but from 55k to 75k miles so 3 service .
They say ,"saving of up to 17% versus purchasing these services separetly (saving may vary)"

No price in the letter ,just call service consultant about it .

Did anyone recently bought that service ?
Is it realy worth it ?

Thanks

Search, there is a thread that summarizes costs for maintenance. You can use that to compare. Labor costs may vary by it'll give you the answer you're looking for.

I'm in the same boat. Pros for me: dealership is about 5 miles away from me and I pass them on the way to work. Assume free loaner is included as it was with Audi Care. All service on car done by same place and by Audi dealer, which might be important to whoever buys it when I sell it. Cons: local shop comes in a good $300-400 cheaper. Problem is that the local shop I'd be using is a good 50+ miles away. No loaner from local shop means I'm pretty much taking a day off - I'm no big baller, but that's over $500 in leave I'd be taking when the next service appointment rolls around. At this point I may just bank the money and pay as I go, particularly since I'm not so sure I'm keeping the car to 75k anyway, although I held on to my B6 until just over 90k. One thing I'm curious about is whether they deal at all on AC+. I negotiated Audi Care when I bought my car and got it for 50% off invoice. With no incentive to bargain with me other than in hopes I buy the next Audi from them, not sure my dealer is willing to cut me any slack on the MSRP. Planning on asking more about it tomorrow.

Just purchased my 2013 S4 and i got the Audi Care Plus. They say its covers all scheduled maintenance up to 85000 kms.
They said that if i was to pay as i go, then i would pay over $1500, i purchased it for only $750 and now i am worry free and they also give you a loner for the day if requested in advance. I thought it was a great deal

Is the loaner only for audi care plus or applies to the original audi care as well? My dealer did not mention this to me at all.

I will probably pick it up when I get to that point. At 55,000 miles is a spark plug change. I'm guessing plugs alone are $150 or so. At 70,000 miles is a another DSG service and I believe the general consensus is that's a $500 service. That puts you halfway to the cost of the extended plan. Throw in the rest of the preventive maintenance at dealer cost vs. the time savings for you and I think it's a no brainer. If someone has some info to contradict this I'm all ears for anything that will help me make the decision in a few years.

Here are the ballpark figures my local performance shop gave me:

Sorry for the delay…here are some quick prices for you. I didn’t hear back from you in regard to trans. If you have a manual, the 75K will be less the $205.95 ( parts cost for auto trans service ).

55k- $587
Includes LOF, wiper blades, pollen Filter, plugs, air filter, brake flush + labor
65k - $110
LOF

75k- $604.95
includes LOF pollen Filter,Air Filter, Brake Flush, Trans service(205.95)

I thought I would eventually buy Audi Care Plus when I got to that point, but am presently leaning towards getting rid of the car when I get close to the end of the base factory warranty. The cost of an extended warranty (straight warranty or CPO) seems very high, Audi's routine maintenance gets more costly as the car ages, and repairs due to wear and tear will also increase as the car ages. If I were considering keeping the car, I would want to be certain I would use the entire amount of prepaid maintenance (i.e. all three service visits). The discount isn't that great and missing the one at 75K would effectively result in paying a lot more for 55K and 65K because you won't get a rebate for not using the 75K visit. If you aren't certain you are keeping the car to at least 75K - 80K miles, I wouldn't consider Audi Care Plus if I were you.

Agreed - for me right now the big question is whether I'll be in the car at 75k. If not, AC+ doesn't make sense unless I can either get a refund for the unused portion (which doesn't appear likely), or I can get credited for it when I sell the car, which again doesn't seem likely. I'm thinking I'll have it until maybe 65k and jump ship at that point.

Is Audi Care Plus transferable? If so, and you do decide to sell, it could potentially bring a few more dollars. Still, if you think you're getting out of it, I wouldn't but it. Keeping the money in your wallet is better than hoping for more dollars when you sell.

Thanks Brooklyn
I found the maintenance scheduled for 2010 Audi car .
http://microsites.audiusa.com/ngw/11/media/downloads/pdfs/us/scheduled_maintenance/ScheduledMaintFlipChart_2010_J2.pdf

Look like at 75k V belt for the compressor drive need to be changed .

I don't know how much that will add to the quote of $695 from your local guy ?

I also noticed Battery – check and replace if necessary at 55 and 75 k miles so my guess if the battery goes bad , it will be on them !

If you have a DSG than I would get AC+ because the fluid (and filter for the 2011s on) is very expensive.

The belt is probably around $40-$50 plus a half hour of labor at most since the front end stays in place.

Also anything that says check/replace if nessecary is not covered under a service so if the battery needs replacement than you are probably paying.
