After a couple months of waiting I finally got my 034 sway bar, sub frame brackets and metal end links in! The wait was mainly for the custom 034 brackets. I did the install in my garage and it was not the easiest sway bar I've installed but I managed. One bolt on the passenger side took me about an hour to get in because the lack of room. Everything else was fairly simple. The only reason why I wanted the new bar was to get some over steer which I'm used to on every car I've owned.

All I can say for initial driving impressions is damn its nice[eek]. Just the right amount of over steer and I have it on the stiff setting. If my car wasn't stock power wise I would probably put it on the softer setting so I don't whip the rear end around on the street. The car gets around any corner in a hurry and stays completely flat(note I have coilovers as well). I can tell you that some one with a wider wheel setup is going to even see more improvement. I noticed that a lot on my bimmer. Yes the brackets are massive and no they are not overkill by any means. The sway bar without some sort of reinforced bracket would tear that sub frame up in a hurry.

Features as listed by 034
213% - 330% Increased Sway Bar Rate (Over Stock B5 Audi S4 Rear Sway Bar)
142% - 220% Increased Sway Bar Rate (Over Neuspeed 19mm Rear Sway Bar on the Stiff Setting)
25.4mm Diameter (stock s4 15mm)
Solid Spring Steel Construction
2-Way Adjustable
Designed to be used in conjunction with the stock front sway bar.

Anyway here are some pics.

very nice! i want to upgrade my suspension this spring/summer. was looking at Vogtland springs, Bilstein shocks and the 034 sway. I'd like a bit of oversteer on the car.

would you be down for giving me a ride and checking it out?

I've never been much of a suspension mod guy besides lowering springs until I went with more of a track setup and changed sway bars in my 135i. Since then I've been hooked on getting suspension bits. I'd highly recommend this bar to anyone that wants his/her car to handle a hell of a lot better

aestivales - Shoot me a PM.

Great to hear about all the differences each company has. Appreciate ya breaking that down. 034 seems the way to go! I will be putting one of those on my wish list. :) I have a Neuspeed rear sway bar in my MKV GTI and it was one of the best upgrades I made. Aside from the amazing APR tune. Thanks!

Nice, I missed out on that group buy which sucked.[headbang]

It was unfortunate that they wouldn't extend the group buy to after the holidays some, to help out everybody budget. If they did I would have definitely bought one

Not at the moment. I'm finally installing my new rotors and pads this week so when I have it raised I'll snap some pics. I'm still amazed at how much better the car handles.
