I have a 2013 Q5 with the bluetooth feature. I can pair my phone (Galaxy Note with ICS) with the car. The phonebook from my phone is "transferred" and shown in the car's display.

However, when I try to dial by voice, the car kept saying "The Phonebook is EMPTY". All my contacts are shown in the car as stated below. If I select a contact via the joystick, it works and the call started.

Is this an issue with Android or just the Bluetooth implementation in Audi?

I did, not much information there. Plus, the video is for the MMI Plus and I have non-navi unit (Audi Concert). According to Audi Bluetooth site (http://microsites.audiusa.com/ngw/12/experience/bluetooth/index.html), my phone is compatible.

I am just wondering if anyone here uses Android and able to do voice dialing.

I have a non-navi unit, but the 2010th
Dial by voice only works for what I saved by voice but not from phone book.
I do not know if it's the same for MY2013
Try it with a voice command "Help"

Did you mean that you saved the number manually to the car (enter the number one by one), assign a "voice" tag and then can use the voice dialing? That'll take hours for me since I have hundreds of contacts with multiple phone numbers. :(

I did the voice command "Help" and there was a "Select Name" command, but the car will just say "Phonebook is empty"... but it is not since it's displayed in the Car's display.

Save phone numbers, it's doing by voice command

This is the only way for non-navi unit (Audi Concert)
