Nice, looks like a 1.8T but what's with the teaser? Give it up, let us know what you got.

Bought it for a DD. The guy who bought it did a timing belt/ water pump service, cam chain and CCT shoes[confused][confused], cleaned the oil pump pick up, etc. Said it idled rough and needed a O2 sensor or MAF. He couldn't figure it out. I knew right away the timing was off even though he said he had 3 people check it [>_<] Cam timing was off. There is supposed to be 16 links between the timing marks not 17.

It's quattro

I was waiting on parts AGAIN, they've arrive and now welded up. This weekend it might be on the road again.(The b6 that is). I'm fixing up additional issues with the b5 as well as some maintenance. Doubt it will be done this weekend because it does need a replacement k03 [:(] Even though the PO "inspected it" and "repaired the wastegate"

To Do list:
ABS Module repair
Air Bag Light - Driverside seat belt tensioner resistance too high (im going to assume its a loose/poor connection)
Replace the cat he punched out (Recycled from my b6)
Repair Central locking pump
Repair driverside window clips
Flush coolant system
Thermostat Housing
Temperature Sensor
Aux Fan Sensor
Coolant Expansion
Cylinder Head Flange
Oil Cooler
AC tensioner
busted ass dipstick and tube...
etc etc...

A non-quattro facelift?

What assumption are you using to believe it's a front track by that picture?

Thanks for the email Keith. I figured out my problem with Vagcom. It was a combination between the ABS module and Airbag Module.

Oil cooler and o-ring replaced
Thermostat, housing, o-ring replaced
Window clips fixed
Central locking pump fixed
Key fob batteries replaced and resync'd
Dipstick and dipstick tube replaced
New AC belt tensioner installed

and still plenty more to do...

coolant temp sensor and o-ring
Catalytic converter from my B6 installed with new gaskets (PO punched out cat and reused the gaskets[confused])
New block breather hose and PCV T.
Coolant expansion tank replaced
Coolant system flushed
New NGK plugs installed (PO had installed Autolite plugs, gapped to .040", installed new with no never seize[confused])
