I recently upgraded to the 2010-2011 Nav DVD and now my iPod connection does not work. The AUX option does not even show up anymore. Anyone have an idea as to why this happened? I did not mess with any wiring, just simply stuck the new DVD in, the RNS-E went through its "updating" screen and now the AUX option doesn't show up. TIA

What car and where did you get the DVD? What iPod adapter?

Sounds like the RNS-E firmware update has changed the coding. Have the RNS-E recoded with VCDS.
If you don't know how to & bought the new map disc from a dealer, have them do it at their cost.

Its a B7 A4. I burned the DVD from here: http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/6087105/Audi_Navigation_Plus_RNS-E_North_America_2010-2011
I don't know the iPod adapter, it was installed by the previous owner.

thanks dcc236, I found this post http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/523096-AUX-Input-All-Parts-are-in
I will have a friend change the coding with his Vagcom

That's probably it. There is also some dvd versions that have new maps with old software that allow a backup cam but disables the AUX.
