So I'm finishing up replacing my head gasket and timing belt.

I was just printing out some torque specs from my manual and came across where it says the four bolts that hold the damper pulley onto the crankshaft are stretch bolts and must be replaced.

Can they be reused and if I can reuse should I tighten them according to spec?

I reuse those every time and I have taken them off a fair amount of times. I also torqued them with the feeler method. Only bolts that I have ever torqued to spec on my car were the rod bolts, head bolts, main cap bolts, crank bolt, cam bolt, flywheel, and pressure plate bolts.

That's what I figured since no one ever mentions it on the diy's. I printed out most of the torque specs just to have a general idea of how tight things are supposed to be.

Thanks
