Yesterday, I purchased a 2013 A6 sedan. It is a Premium Plus 2.OT Quattro with 20” tires. The exterior is Quartz Gray Metallic (depicted in m avatar). The interior, black.
This A6 is the fifth Audi I have owned:
1975 100 GL
1982 Quattro
1985 Sports Quattro S1
2012 A4 Avant
2013 A6 Sedan

The '13 A6 2.0T is quite adequate with 211hp, 258 pound-feet of torque. I love mine.....

I posted a response about the 2.0T engine earlier and it seems to have disappeared from this thread. So, I will respond again.
The engine I chose is the same engine as in my 2012 Audi Avant.
The difference in weights between the Avant at 3,814 lbs and the A6 at 3,891 lbs is a mere 77 lbs.
The avant had excellent acceleration up to 60mph from a dead start and leaped from 60mph to 85mph in a blink of an eye. From that point onward, that engine could reach any speed I wanted to attain without any difficulty.
Thus, with this engine in the A6, I have enough power to enter freeways in safety and pass vehicles on the highway quickly without effort.
The savings in cost by opting for the 2.0T is substantial. Thus, it was a win win in my opinion.

thanks! i had no idea these were the new ones.
i always looked at the 2.0 as a A3-A4 engine
but if its strong enough to pull the A6 around without feeling like a granny, thats pretty dope, since gas aint gettin no cheaper!
already @ $4.65/gal here.

Congrats and looking good.
So what was the damage?
Seems the 2.0 Quattro c7 starts around 45k.
I tried pricing out a prestige 3.0 on carsdirect and it came out to 56k.
Would love some interior pics also.
It's so wierd not seeing fog lights on the a6...

Congrats. Getting the same car next week I hope.
How do you like the 20's? How is the ride? I opted not to get the 19" sport pkg because I didn't want paddle shifters, etc.

coolwater, sorry about the delay in responding. Out the door include tax, license and all fees $50,917.90
DSL_PWR, this car having 20" rims and tires has a glassy ride. It is so smooth.
These large tires really provides great handling and stability going around sharp curves.
I have found that many photos shown on the internet show the interior of my car as it actually is. This is why I have not taken any interior shots.
