View Full Version : Might be taking my car back to OEM... got a question though

So I am trying to sell my car which is modded, not heavily modded, but modded none the less.
If I decided to take it back to stock, I would like to sell the APR tune that is on it (Stock, 91 octane, and 93 octane programs). Is this possible by simply swapping ECU's with someone? Or is this something that is probably going to be more trouble then what it would be worth?
Anyways, keep an eye out if you are looking for so good used parts as there might be quite a few coming off of my car soon.

Yeah but you have to sell the ecu and speedo (and maybe the ignition switch).

ECU swapping was easy with IMMO and IMMO2, not so much anymore.
You could leave it in stock mode, then ask the buyer if he wants it chipped, drive it around the block, set to 93oct and ask him for 300 bucks. LOL i'm completely kidding.

The photo portrays an extremely sad and unfortunate reality for many. The context in which it was used was f'd up. I do not find it humorous in any way.
