I cannot recall the offset, but you should be fine.

I almost picked some up and I needed like 5mm in the front and 8 in the rear.

225/40 tire should fit just fine with those specs. But if you want to run spacers, go ahead. I think the limit for 18" wheels and 225/40 tires is et48 (or et45).

Shouldn't. But you won't know till they are placed on the car.

ET 43

That should work alright. You can go out as far as et20 if you like. Possibly more.

Depends on a lot of things. The only way to know is when the tires are put on. Ride height, suspension wear, tire wear, if the cars been in an accident, etc...

For example, I put a set of B7's on my car, 235/17's and on the drivers side it had no clearance issues but on the passenger side it was touching the control arm and was not even drivable.

If you do end up needing spacers, you can order them online at advance auto using a coupon code then do in store pick up. They work just fine and in my area are stocked at all the stores. They are not hubcentric, but in my looking, none of the spacers of smaller sizes are, so you can't get them anyway.

I also bought 35mm bolts from ebay for like $30.

I put the spacers on all 4 wheels because the rears were rubbing on the drivers side as well.
