So my car hit 255k miles in the last few weeks and it marks 90k miles since the trans/differentials were serviced. Looking on ecs I'm seeing a few options for both. I'm seeing redline or motul and the redline has the option for mt-90 or mtl. What do you all suggest?

Motul or OEM.

Redline shears out too fast and some people have complained of shifting problems after switching to it.

I just filled my tranny up with OEM fluid. No more difficulty shifting in the cold anymore.

Makes me feel better at hitting 218. Hope I at least get to 255.

I would recommend the OEM as well. I switched to Redline in the tranny and rear diff at 180k. Now at 196k I can def tell I am having to use some force to shift into 1-3 gears in the morning when the fluid is cold. Other than that the fluid seems fine.

It was stock tuned till 248k. Head was off at 245 and the hone was still in good shape. It was religiously maintained and I have receipts from 2004- when I bought it last may at 247. You'd never know it had that much mileage on it by looking at it or sitting in it running.
