Driving my Audi after I got it back from the rebuild shop (recently wrecked) and it worked and ran perfect, drove it home from work and the smelled hot, temperature gauge was fine, pulled over and the exhaust manifold was CHERRY red, could hear the air/coolant movin try the system, any idea what the problem is?? Thanks!

Clogged cat. Sell it at a scrap yard for $80 and use that money toward a test pipe.

That's what it was! Removed the cat and ran a straight pipe to test, didn't get hotter than it should have!

A good test pipe is 100 to 150 + or - I have RAI TP and its a great product worth the few extra bucks.
