It will make noise and make you smile. That's about it. The AEM intake I have is cheaper and includes a turbo inlet pipe.

get it, get the APR one, and pay extra to have it shipped to you quicker even.... It's that great of a product....I spent 600$ on my CAI

Spend your money on a FMIC and then route a cone filter down to where the pass side FMIC is. That's your best bet.

This shit again.
I got an idea why not whenever someone makes a new account they are required to watch an educational video on how to search the forum.
Also in the main forum section there should be a sign on top that says, "DONT EVEN DARE ASK ABOUT CAI"

you seem nice enough, and i had my morning coffee so here we go.
you are a new member, welcome.
you have asked a pretty noob question and actually got a pretty nice response to it, but i am pretty sure your next question is going to also be a pretty noob question so let me try and help you out.
there is a guide at the top of this section that a person spent a lot of time on to help people like you, it total, it takes about 30 minutes to read and absorb the information I highly suggest you try having a go at that, and maybe spending some more time doing some research on commonly asked items. i will say if you don't take my advice here you are going to have a pretty bad time on this website as we are a group of people who don't tolerate people who are unwilling to try and help themselves.
to answer your question, the carbonio intake, and any intake for that matter is such a giant waste of money that even the forum sponsors that MAKE and SELL the intake don't comment on threads like this because it is such a large gigantic waste of money, so that should hopefully tell you something.
also, the carbonio's CF will yellow over time (about 6 months) and not a sweet cool yellow, but more like the yellow of your piss after a night of drinking, peppered with black bits of CF.
again, you seem like a nice enough person, and i don't want you to get upset with the people on this site, so take an hour or so and click on some stuff and you will soon figure out there is an insane amount of information on this site, and it is all readily availible.
welcome, and consider this a nice little warning.

Honestly, all the CAI well do is take the big airbox out and replace it with a noise maker(not loud), and replace it with something that you can clean yourself and don't have to replace the filter. I did it too free up room for add-ons. You can make your own CAI with a heat shield if you want for less that $200.

picture is just for a laugh. I have AEM intake. Didn't put it on for performance, I just like the sound for my personal reference.

Holy balls, someone actually took the effort to weld all that piping. I guess when the turbo is breathing air that fresh you only need a 6" x 6" intercooler core.

If you look at your intake will notice it's already a "cold air intake", and a drop in filter won't do squat except maybe ruin your MAF. I did the cone filter thing because everyone on here raved about how it sounds but I thought it sounded like ass so I promptly went back to the airbox.
Borrow a cone filter from a buddy if you really wan't to see what it sounds like, it takes about 15 minutes to put on. Other than that take the money you would have spent and buy yourself or someone else something nice.
