Whoops! We ordered too many of our JOM B5 Front Track Coilovers (http://store.blackforestindustries.com/jomb5aufrtrc.html). We barely have space for these and as a result we need to find a good home for them. We’ve lowered the price considerably – now only $299.99! Keep in mind these coilovers still carry our 2 year warranty directly through us here at Black Forest Industries.

High quality at a low price – These B5 Audi Front-Track specific JOM suspension coilover kits (http://store.blackforestindustries.com/jomb5aufrtrc.html)allows adjustment of 30-60mm (.75″-2.36″) drop in the front and 40-60mm (.75″-2.36″) drop in the rear. A great choice for the budget minded enthusiast – fully height adjustable suspension for the price of a cup-kit!

I would post this over on a passat forum. I am sure you could sell all of them in an instant there.

Good idea, but I don't think they rear coilovers would fit the B5 Passat. I will double check just to be sure. [up]

Yeah, I double checked with one of the guys here yesterday and he confirmed it.
I just didn't get back on here to follow up. Appreciated the knowledge though. [up]

We sell JOM coilovers for almost every platform and direct feedback has always been positive.
Check out the 'I Lowered It' album on Facebook, or some of our threads on Vortex.
There's lots of feedback there.

JOM does not produce Quattro coilovers for the B5 chassis. [:(]

Too bad the rears aren't available separately.

...or are they?

No, only sold as a complete kit and only available for Front Trac models.

Yeah, I need the rears for front track. My back end sits too high for my taste on Bilstein & H&R sports.

Well, they're not going to get any cheaper then $299.99 for the set.
Maybe you could sell the fronts separately when you get the kit and recoop some cost. [:d]

interesting, so even the Front tracks have an independent rear suspension?

From my understanding, neither are true IRS. Both use a twist beam, but the damper/spring packaging is different.
The A4 uses the 'coilover' type setup and the Passat mounts the shock and spring separately.

Sorry but what is Front Track?

Does that mean FWD? and will they fit a 1997 Audi A4?

Do you deliver to Australia. I will snap them up in an instant if so.

Thanks.

Yes, Audi's name for FWD is Front Track.
I'm sorry, but at this time we only ship within the US & Canada.

How long will this sale be going on for?

Likely until the inventory is down to more "normal" levels; we still have an exorbitant amount of these in the warehouse.

You guys should try to sell sets that will fit B5s Quattro. I believe B5 1.8T, 2.8 and 2.7T are all the same or at least interchangable. Someone here can confirm. For $299.99 I think you guys would sell a good amount. Maybe start a group buy.

We'd love to, but JOM does not product B5 Quattro coilovers. If they did, we'd surely have them!

Having some issues with the install. I took out front stock struts and noticed that the spring seat does not want to position itself on the bottom of the BFI coilover. Also, do I have to use the blue ring that comes with the suspension or can that be set aside?
Thanks - Mirza
