I just picked up a 2000 a4 and now I am looking to make a coilover purchase. Any suggestions? I am looking to stay around $1K for a set.
Does anyone have any negative or positive feedback on the FK Silverlines on a B5?
Thanks guys!

St's are a very good option for under 1k.

STs. Now. I've had em for over a year and every person who rides in my car compliments me on how well it rides for how low it is, and it handles 100% better than stock.

How do the st's hold up to the weather because this car will see some winter weather. That's one of the reasons I was looking at the silverlines.

I had a set of silverline plus x coilovers. I honestly loved them as a daily coil. went super low, very comfortable and not bouncy. but... too soft for tracking or auto-x, and had to clean them once a year since they corroded easily.

My STs have seen snow and salt and are still fine. Just go to AutoZone and get some WD40 corrosion inhibitor.

I battled back and forth between the STs and Vogtlands. I ended up going with the Vogtlands after pouring over review threads and got a better impression for them than the STs. I'd say the STs are definitely more popular by far though.
