Has anyone else experienced an issue where the phonebook names are incorrect when someone calls in?

For example, if person A calls me, it will show the name of person C, but person A's number will show correctly. It's as though the phonebook is linked wrong.

I think your phone and bluetooth kit have gremlins...

I have had issues with my S3 where some contacts like "enfig" cont show up in the contact list but show up on recent calls lists. With aftermarket dension products.

Sounds like the same problem I have Christian. My Bluetooth kit is OEM though.

I'm going to do a mobridge unit in a few days. If enfig does not show up it has to be a phone issue. Post up on Friday if I haven't responded yet.

I suspect a phone issue. It did this on both my I9300 and I9305. I'm going to try to remove the 'other' phone book entry and see what happens.

I'm still using my 18 month old HTC Desire HD, rooted and running a custom rom, I love it. I was less impressed with the One XL I was planning to upgrade to at Christmas but I did love its speed. Have never used a S2 or S3. A properly working Bluetooth tooth capability is high on my list of must haves. There's always the iPhone if the S3 fails to do the job.

I quite liked the older HTCs - I had a Sensation before this, and have used the Desire HD, Desire and Incredible S for lengthy periods of time. The current range of HTC is all plastic, without expandable media and removable batteries. It's a departure from the build quality I had with earlier HTC devices.
