Agreed. Been wanting these for a while, but for the money so many other functional mods can be had.

I don't get how these long and thin pieces of plastic are this expensive. Yet a fully loaded ECU with all the bells and whistles from APR, when on sale, runs $50 bucks more and probably required a lot more work to develop. And on top of that, these are unpainted. WTH.

These are Genuine OEM Audi door flares. I believe they are made out of ABS plastic or whatever the material is that the ones came factory on S4's

I don't agree gas should cost $3.30+ a gallon but there's not much I can do about it lol. It's definitely not one of the less expensive budget friendly mods that we all love that's for sure. I don't know how many of you have actually held one of these things in your hands but its definitely not just a flimsy piece of plastic. They are heavy - club like objects, not that that really justifies the price but I could see how the manufacture could come up with a ball park price of over $100 dollars a piece.

Especially when OEMPlus.com sells them for the same price and that's their regular price. http://www.oemplus.com/door-blades-p-551.html which means when OEMPlus has their random sales throughout the year the price is actually lower than this. The next time that happens, I'm hoping this will be the next mod I do.

I have no issue with ECS. I've bought from them before and their staff has always been friendly and helpful. My complaint is strictly with the price of the item both from ECS and from Audi. :P

ECS offers a superior service and the only way they can do this is through slightly higher prices. I bought a "mint condition" glovebox from OEM+ on the classifieds. What do you know, it had been hacked to shit in from the back side of the box. The only reason I didn't flip sh*t is because I only needed the door.

You get what you pay for. ECS offers superior products and service. At the very least, you know you'll be satisfied with the product.
