B6 avant speaker questions

Are there any direct fit speakers for the front and rear doors of this car? Every speaker that comes up on a crutchfield search says fits with bracket? I have seen a lot of people say that the speakers are all 6.5" but then why do no 6.5" speakers direct fit?

I have the factory speaker adapters but they are not on the site yet.

Not sure how similar the B6 is to the B7, but I have had 3 different sets of speakers bolt up with no issues and no adapters/spacers needed. 6.5" fits fine, the only thing to be aware of is the depth, there is just slightly less than 3" available in the front doors, and more in the rears.

All you ned to do is pry the stock speaker off of its plastic mount (they are screwed and glued on, there is a thread here somewhere with pictures) and then re-use the stock plastic mount. I have had Arc Audio FD6000, Alpine Type R and Massive Audio CK6 all in my front doors with no problems at all, have the Alpine Type R's in the rear doors now and no issues there either.
