Hey guys just got my STaSIS cat back along with my AWE resonated downpipes installed at Audi North Scottsdale and i must say at first i was very scared due to all the talk about droning exhaust and or the exhaust being too quiet. But i must say these two combos are PERFECT in my opinion for those who want something that's in the middle of loud and quiet. Coming from a GHL R32 style catback on my GTI which was LOUD as fuck and droned like a mother ****** i listened in very closely and noticed there was a bit of drone when i drove from the dealer, however as AWE has stated after putting some miles on the downpipes the drone was gone. When cruising the exhaust is very mild and has an aggressive tone to it especially when downshifting, but when you get on it it's a complete monster and just opens it. Overall i'm VERY happy with the decision i made especially since i only spent $400 bucks on the STaSIS exhaust :)

FYI resonated downpipes are a MUST for s-tronic vehicles

At first i thought the same, however the more i look at it the more i like it. I think of it kinda as flaunting exhaust!

Ya i like it looks good!!! Post up a video. AWE downpipes are the best money I've spent. Just got my Non res AWE DP's installed today with my GMG exhaust. I feel like the minimal drone i had from GMG exhaust is gone and car is an animal!!!

nice, glad you're happy with it! i also think the tips do stick out a bit too much. it sounds VERY quiet compared to mine with the non-res AWE downpipes.. i'm actually surprised at the difference!

Got mine installed yesterday and sounds sexy on WOT. I have the tunable version with the AWE dp. I took the resonator out in the tips. Hopefully I can post up some vids as well.

The exhaust does stick out for me as well. It's due to the pairing of AWE and Stasis.

my tips definitely don't stick out that much.. i adjusted them to my liking and actually plan on tucking them in more to make them flush, like i did on my previous S5 and B7 S4:

Nice man! We have the same exact setup lol i removed the inserts out of the tips before i got it installed.

That's why both me and Sman2good have the resonated downpipes so it's longer than the non-resonated due to the resonator

I had my tips out the same when I first installed the exhaust.

The whole "weeee I got an exhaust, and I wanna see it!" wears off in about a month.

There's nothing i can do about it Sman2good has the same exact setup as me and his tips are sticking out just like mine i guess it's because of the Stasis + AWE resonated down pipes setup

I've actually grown to like it i think it gives it more of an aggressive look and plus it i won't be burning my bumper/diffuser

My r32 style exhaust was tucked in on GTI and overtime the sut and hot gases stained/burnt the diffuser and it made it look as if my car shot out flames or something lol that's why i rather be safe then sorry this time around.

I've put 20K on my exhaust already and just clean and wax the area. No issues.
