When replacing my thermostat this weekend I noticed that my passenger motor mount has been leaking and needs to be replaced. I'm looking at the 034 street density motor mounts but wasn't sure if there were any other competing motor mounts that I may want to look at. What are my options?

Any additional cabin vibration or noise with the 034 mounts?

None for me when I switched to the 034 mounts. Just make sure you install the loosely, start the engine and let it run for a minute, then shut it off and tighten the bolts all the way.

IKE20VA4, what's the part number for those? Also, are they a direct fit for an A4?

They don't have electric connectors on the passenger side, which I think your car would IF you have the auto trans. According to this thread. Guys have just resistor'd them to make them not throw a code.

Those RS4 mounts look great. I need to learn more about the electrical connector though since I have a tip. Does anyone know if the 034 mounts have this electrical connector on them? Will my car throw codes if I don't hook up the electrical connector to the mount?

The 034 mounts do not have the electrical connector on them, but 034 does sell a resistor bypass.

Would the resistor bypass work with the RS4 mounts? Also can anyone attest to how good the RS4 mounts are? I'm very conflicted between these and the 034 mounts.

I was told I don't need a bypass for 034 mounts because the mounts only throw soft codes, atleast that's what I was told, and those don't trigger CEL's.

Im running 034 street density mounts, bout 4k miles now. Love em! No added noises or vibration. WOT is much smoother as with all areas of acceleration. Did the snub shortly after.

Rodmar, you are correct, they only throw soft codes. No CELs, i just left my connector tucked away unplugged and out of the way

I was told that due to weight support of the S4 mounts, they would cause a small increase in cabin vibration on a 2.0T, and the 034 would be anywhere in between stock mounts and the S4 mounts as far as vibration.
