A4 Avant Symphony Rear Speaker connection has strange harness??

Okay, maybe I'm an idiot, maybe I didn't search the forums hard enough I dunno but I am confused as hell. I bough the Metra harness to connect my aftermarket HU in my A4 Avant (07) with Symphony. Now the problem I have is this: the red harness that they give you with the RCAs coming out for the rear amp..it doesn't plug into the factory plugs. The shape is wrong. I have seen other factory plugs posted and mentioned on here and it looks like they have a long black plug that fits into there. I have the black plug (part of the plug bezel) the tan plug (both of these connected give me radio function and front sound just no rears) and then bellow that I have 2 more plugs, one blue and one green and they sure as hell don't fit into the red Metra plug. Am I missing something that's right in front of my nose here? Thanks!

Be aware there are two types of stock plugs used the B7 range - mini-iso and quadlock. You need to ensure you buy the right harness for whichever one you have. Yes, some pics would help.

This will make the install much easier and do either bose or non bose. It wil lalso give you ignition illumination VSS Parking Brake & Reverse behind the radio.

Looks like I'm pretty much answering my question...Looks like I have to find a Quadlock harness?

Here's a link to a quadlock AUX harness. Looks like this is what I need. But there isn't a remote wire.

No, that's not what you need.
If I were you I'd give Christian a call. He's even included a pic of what you need.
