i think my turbo is broken of my 1.9TDI BKE

I think my turbo is broken, lot of white smoke, no power and not a drop of oil in my engine... With app torque, he gave the faultcode P2099. I've got a turbo of my passat 1.9 AFN engine laying in my garage, a VNT15. Does anyone knows he will fit on my engine? That will me safe me a cost.

A turbo off of a 1.8t A4 would not work with my dad's Passat when I asked Brian @ Audis4parts.

But looking at this website it looks like they could be interchangeable.

? i'got a 1.9tdi (BKE) and the turbo of that passat is also a diesel 1.9tdi (AFN) . How do you come at a 18.T A4 turbo?
And my BKE has 115HP and is from 2006.

I believe he was just referencing the fact that the 1.8t out of an a4 and passat utilized different turbos, possibly due to different engine bay configurations/mounts. This would lead to the fact that the 1.9 diesel may also use different components between the a4 and passat.
