Estorial Blue.
3500 Miles.
Garaged Only.
Non Smoker.
This is really more of a feeler, but I have an opportunity to pick up a 2013 SL63AMG for a steal.
Need to make room in the garage for the RS5 coming as well. If anyone wants more details, let me know

Honestly, I can't stand kids. So many people are afraid to put that out there... I have way too many miserable friends and family members who have kids. they typically have kids in a desperate effort to patch a hole in either a shotty marriage or unaccomplished life. Or they are not intelligent enough to properly utilize birth control... I'm sure there are a few exceptions, like people who believe it is some sort of religious or self-fulfilling prophecy, or because they had a nice childhood. To each their own I suppose.
Love my wife & my dog. Kids are completely overrated & expensive. We travel the world, change cities & residences often, buy any toys we want, no obligations other than those I might plan for myself. The world is extremely over-populated with mediocrity anyways.

My first kid is due next week. Thanks Debby Downer. Just kidding. We have good reasons to want kids. To each their own. I just had to trade in my S5 for an S6 and it's all good. It's due at the dealership tonight/tomorrow!!

He's the kind of guy I would be friends with because I dont have or want kids either. This way we could go anywhere we wanted on a whim without worry about who is taking care of what. Just saying, Im not opposed to people who have kids, I just think the world isnt really a great place to bring them into right now. Plus they are ridiculously expensive. By the time they are college age it will be about $250k easy for a 4yr school. Fuggetaboutit.
Already?!?!
Damn LOL. I cant lie though. One of my friends just got a job at Benz and sent me pics of a fully loaded 2013 C63 in White with P31 package on it... Going to look at it and run numbers this Saturday.
Good luck with sale!

You guys could get together and talk about each other and how much you make and who bangs hotter chicks or guys, and who's car is faster and who has nicer stuff.

I would expect someone who hates their life because they had kids to have a reply like that...
Not that it really makes a difference but I dont care who he bangs or how much he makes. And our cars are equally as fast because everyone obeys the speed limits. And Im actually dating a girl who has kids. My personal preference has always been not to have any. Why is that so offensive?

It's hilarious how defensive breeders get... ;)
Seriously, if you are happy, I'm happy for you. Whatever your choices.
I'll still consider my life much more fulfilling & interesting, but it's all about perception, isn't it... You may think watching your child take a shit for the first time is AMAZING, but I think visiting Dubai, Paris, Dublin, Singapore & Vienna all in the same year or buying a new Porsche without grimacing over the cost much more amazing... Lol
A great book you should read is "Two is Enough." :)

Right? Why are people so 'offended' when you say you are not having kids??? They treat my wife like she's a war criminal! I think because everyone feels that if 'they' have to suffer raising kids, WE shouldn't escape so easy!
My wife doesn't like children either. We both like each other so much that we have absolutely no room for anyone else :)

You can do both. I have taken the kids to all of those places, plus considerably more. I have no mortgage or rent payments and I pay cash for all of my cars. And yes there was a 911 Turbo in the driveway along with kids bicycles. So I don't think you have to pick one over the other. You can do both.

Not offensive at all to me, just making light of a stereotype I see so often with people (males) in my line of work who find it necessary to justify, and loudly, the fact that they don't want kids. I work with different people every week and I can always tell the 'I hate kids' guy because the entire day(s) are about him working into the conversation his toy collection, salary, illegal immigrant teenager he is dating, his next purchase, etc: complete with iPad pictures and all. Keep in mind these guys are in their mid 50's and I'm sure at one point years ago had some ability to self-monitor and keep internal this need to be heard and show off, but that is lost with age. Don't let it happen to you to,,I smell it on you.

These debates (kids/no kids) always crack me up. I think one happens on every forum I've been on. People without kids can't imagine how having a kid changes your life, or how it would change your perspective on what having a kid means in the first place, and people with kids, honestly, can no longer relate to what it was like not having kids and how you might think/feel about not having kids at that stage of life because the mere fact you have a kid means you've been changed forever at the root of your being and thinking of your life without your kids leaves you feeling empty/hollow/sick inside so people who vocalize their "no kids for me" thoughts seem like a bunch of crazies.
I love these debates.

Easy, there, life coach. Marriage and kids aren't for everyone. OP is only 31, too. Whole lotta time left to go that route if he chooses. Sounds to me like he's doing just fine.

I could have written this. Feel exactly the same way and I am in the same situation, ironically. Happily married to a great girl, we have an awesome dog and the freedom to go where we want, when we want. Wouldn't have it any other way.

Not offensive at all. I have kids (and love em) but I always tell my friends that are thinking about it that it is a hell of allot of work for a long long time and unless you can't imagine life with out them, don't bother. It is very stupid to go into the kid thing only half way committed
