MMI questions

I have a couple questions about MMI.

1. Anyone have their sirius/xm display in the guage cluster say "Null" after the radio station listing? If so, how the hell do you get rid of it? It comes and goes with no rhyme or reason...

2. For the NAV screen, when music is playing, does your screen flicker as if it's doing so to the music? Anyway of getting rid of that?

I have the same "null" problem on the display. You're right, it comes and goes with no regular pattern. Sometimes doesn't happen for weeks. I showed the dealer a picture but they couldn't get it to replicate. Would be nice to figure out the cause.

1.) I've seen that happen. Assuming it's trying to read some data from a satellite and it gets truncated or something.

2.) Never had that happen. How loud are you playing the music? Lot of bass? Could just be vibrating the housing around the screen which causes the screen to subtly vibrate.

I had the "Null" appear a few times. Once it went away when I witched from sirius to FM and back but the other few times I did a hard reset and that worked. The entire Sirius/AM/FM system started acting screwy a few weeks ago and it was replaced but it was one hell of a headache getting the sirius and traffic info working again once it got replaced because the ESN number is the same for Data and music in our cars and in most other cars its 2 different numbers. Hope its something simple.

Not sure what year it is, but I had some screen flicker issues on my 2010 that I had to take into the dealer to get fixed; there was something loose.

Is there a way to enable music streaming from iPhone to MMI via bluetooth streaming in a B8 (2010-2012) S4? If so, is it a hardware update or software update? I was in my buddy's 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee last weekend and he had that capability (in fact I was pretty envious of his OEM touch screen nav+satellite+bluetooth unit in general)
