2007 a4 2.0t quattro 6mt 42k miles. half way to work this morning i started getting a flashing CEL when in boost (above 2500rpms). Engine was missing pretty bad. i just got off work and drove it home. now the engine is still doing the same thing but the CEL in constant and the engine is running worse than before. im thinking it might be the pcv cause i just had an oil change and maybe they didnt hook it back up right. If their is anyone in the Jacksonville fl area (south side specifically) with vag com and would like to help ill be in your debt ( beer, pizza, help with car part install, whatever) and if anyone else has any input that would be sweet. i know coils and spark plugs are on the list on potential items but i just bought it 4 months ago and the dealership did both of those plus checked the cam follower at purchase. Thanks for any help. -Kinzik-

Side note dash was reading 60+ mpg on the way home. about 15 miles at 55-60 mph.

its not a pcv issue you would know if it was you would hear a loud whinning noise and oil would be spraying from fill cap. Sounds like a boost leak or blown coil pack.

coil pack does sound very likely. Unless the dealership didn't replace them like they said, id be shocked for one to only last 5k miles. Guess ill them one by one tomorrow morning to see if that's the problem.

well pull coil pack and look at part number of each they should all be same, and part number 07K905715F if they just replaced or even 06H905115B

any obd II scanner will work to just pull the codes so that we can give you a better solution to your problem.
